Postdoctoral Associate

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on advanced biomedical ultrasound imaging, with potential projects in transcranial ultrasound brain imaging, quantitative ultrasound imaging, ultrasound flow imaging, or AI-enabled ultrasound imaging.

Individuals with interests in ultrasound imaging, computational imaging, acoustics, signal processing, and machine learning are encouraged to contact Aiguo Han via email. Applicants should include a CV and a brief description of research interests.

Outstanding candidates may also be eligible for Virginia Tech Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowships.

Graduate Students

We are always looking for motivated PhD students interested in ultrasound imaging, signal processing, and machine learning. Students with backgrounds in electrical and computer engineering (ECE) or biomedical engineering (BME) are particularly encouraged to apply.

Undergraduate Students

Limited undergraduate research positions are available. Expected qualifications include either:

• GPA > 3.8, or
• Prior coursework in digital signal processing, digital imaging, image processing, machine learning, and/or acoustic or electromagnetic waves
